vConstruct is an entrepreneurial organization and has forayed into product development for construction by leveraging its deep understanding of construction processes. We have a dedicated team of people who come from the construction domain and technology domain to build solutions for problems we see in the construction management workflows by leveraging 3D (BIM), Web and Mobile, AI/ML and IoT. In less than 3 years we have built some amazing products such as NirmaanXD, DeciLeanand around 10 BIM based automations.
We are looking for a Senior AI Researcher who will be responsible for solving some key problems in the Construction industry by leveraging AI technologies such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Generative AI.
Responsibilities
The Senior AI Researcher is a leadership role within the AI team, responsible for spearheading advanced research initiatives, guiding strategic technology development, and mentoring junior researchers. This position combines deep technical expertise with vision and influence, driving innovation across cutting-edge AI domains such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, generative AI, or reinforcement learning.
The Senior AI Researcher is expected to contribute both theoretical insights and practical solutions that shape the future of the organization’s AI capabilities.
- 10+ years of total experience with 3-5+ years of experience in AI/ML research, with a strong portfolio of publications and deployed innovations.
- Deep expertise in one or more AI subfields (e.g., generative AI, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning).
- Advanced programming and modeling skills using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, etc.
- Experience working with large-scale data, distributed training, and cloud-based ML infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead research projects from ideation to execution.
- Experience mentoring junior researchers and contributing to team growth.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for scientific exploration and applying AI to solve real-world challenges.
Education
- Master’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent industry research experience.
