vConstruct is seeking Architects to join its Design Services team to support the delivery of Design-Build and Design-Assist projects. This role exists to bridge the gap between design vision and technical execution, ensuring architectural intent is preserved while achieving constructability, compliance, and cost efficiency.
This role would fit an early-career architectural professional with strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and an interest in design coordination and delivery. The individual would work on a range of projects of different scales and complexities in core markets of our expertise such as commercial, educational, healthcare, advanced tech, and life sciences buildings. The individual would gain exposure to areas such as Architecture and Interior Design, Cold Formed Framing systems, and Building Envelope systems including façade and waterproofing.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural design development from Concept through Issued for Construction (IFC) stages across multiple projects.
- Support project teams in developing architectural deliverables, including design drawings, coordinated models, shop drawings, submittals, and other documentation for assigned scopes of work.
- Develop and support 3D visualizations for critical building envelope conditions to aid in design validation, constructability review, sequencing studies, and field execution.
- Conducts research on materials, codes and product data as required, apply learning on projects and document findings for future reference.
- Participate in design coordination efforts, assisting with the identification and resolution of design conflicts and constructability risks across disciplines.
- Support the development, organization, and maintenance of architectural details and design content for various building systems.
- Assist in maintaining design and documentation standards, templates, and content to promote consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Support the production of conceptual renderings and visual materials to communicate design intent.
- Assist with issue tracking, RFI responses, design updates, and incorporation of constructability feedback to produce coordinated design solutions.
Experience & Skills
- 1–4 years of professional experience as an Architect or Junior Designer in the AEC industry.
- Education background - Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural drawings, technical documents, and construction methodologies.
- Working proficiency in Revit for architectural documentation and detail development.
- Experience creating and maintaining design content such as Revit families and templates is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and visualization tools such as Enscape is desirable.
- Familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper is a plus.
- Exposure to tools supporting design coordination and documentation reviews such as Navisworks, ACC, Bluebeam is preferred.
- Curiosity to learn and develop, and motivated to seek solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proactive, positive team player with a can-do attitude.
