Assistant Project Manager - Planning for Data Center projects is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling integrated project schedules to ensure timely delivery of construction and commissioning activities. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to manage project sequencing, procurement tracking, progress monitoring, risk mitigation, and recovery planning while ensuring alignment with project milestones, execution priorities, and overall project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

o   Prepare and baseline integrated master schedules for Data Center projects using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project covering Civil, Architectural, MEP, ELV, ICT, and Commissioning activities.  

o   Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and identify critical delays, constraints, and recovery opportunities.  

o   Develop detailed micro schedules, recovery schedules, shutdown plans, and weekly 2-week/3-week lookahead plans.

o   Plan and monitor procurement schedules for long-lead mission critical equipment such as UPS, DG, Chillers, Transformers, Switchgear, CRAH/CRAC, and BMS systems.  

o   Coordinate daily with vendors and subcontractors to review Plan vs Actual progress, manpower deployment, material status, manufacturing progress, and delivery timelines.

o   Coordinate with internal teams including Civil, MEP, Procurement, Design, QA/QC, Contracts, and Execution teams for timely resolution of project issues.

o   Manage construction sequencing and interface coordination among Civil, MEP, OEM vendors and Commissioning teams

o   Review contractor resource deployment, manpower histograms, productivity reports, and milestone achievements to ensure alignment with project targets.

o   Maintain Risk Registers, identify project risks, and monitor mitigation and closure actions.

o   Conduct delay analysis, schedule impact assessments, extension-of-time evaluations, and maintain delay logs

o   Track and monitor testing & commissioning activities including Level 1 to Level 5 commissioning and phased handover requirements.  

o   Ensure contractual milestones and project deliverables are aligned with approved schedules and execution plans.

o   Support Value Engineering and time/cost optimization initiatives to improve project delivery efficiency. Coordinate with costing/budgeting teams for the same.

o   Present weekly and monthly project execution reviews highlighting critical path status, risks, mitigation plans, commissioning readiness, and overall project performance.

o   Optimize site logistics, material flow, and construction coordination to minimize execution bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

o   Establish project KPIs, planning procedures, reporting systems, and governance standards aligned with Data Center project requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in construction management – preferred

• 10 - 12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in Project Planning while based on-site

The Head of MEP Engineering and Design Services – India will play a strategic and hands-on leadership role in establishing and scaling the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Engineering and Design Services discipline within the Design Services Business Unit in India. The MEP head will lead a team that is expected to grow to 100+ members as the organization expands in the next 5 years. Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university. 
• PE (Professional Engineer) License from the U.S preferred. 
• Minimum 18 years of total experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role. 
• Work experience across both U.S. and Indian engineering environments, with a deep understanding of cross-border collaboration. 
• Proven experience in scaling engineering operations or setting up offshore capabilities. 
• Exposure to MEP detailing and fabrication processes and their integration with Structural and Architectural workflows 
• Experience working in global engineering services or consulting organizations. 
• Experience leading and managing and making decisions amongst a group of peers.
• Comprehensive expertise in the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, IT infrastructure and other critical integral systems specifically tailored to Adv Tech and Manufacturing projects is preferred
• Familiarity with local, national and international codes and standards governing MEP systems design. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to identify and solve engineering challenges with teams 
• Knowledge of cost estimation, scheduling, virtual design and construction, quality control and safety regulations related to MEP design systems primarily is preferred. 
• Experience in Design build/Design Assist projects in diverse markets such as Manufacturing, Data Centers, Healthcare, Infrastructure is preferred.

Exp. - Minimum 4 year of experience in Tekla and other detailing software’s like Rebarcad, aSa, etc

Location: Pune (Magarpatta or Baner), Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Rebar Modeler and Detailer is accountable to create high quality deliverables and outputs on schedule, act independently to manage the assigned work and deliverables, work closely with project lead and project manager to plan project implementation.  Indicative responsibilities include:

-Carefully study project documents - drawings, details, RFIs and addendums.  Identify missing information, discrepancies and constructability issues. 

-Develop high quality, accurate 2D & 3D models for concrete and rebar using Tekla software and applying knowledge of RCC systems, constructability and previous experience.​

-Participate in trade coordination meetings to identify and incorporate changes in model.

-Create field deliverables like shop drawings, export layout points from model.​

-Check the quality of work for accuracy before submissions to client teams.  Meet quality metrics established for project.

-Project set up, including model set up in Tekla.​

-Communicate with client regarding project deliverables. Most client meetings will happen between 5 PM and 10 PM IST.​

Other non-project responsibilities include,

- Improvise best practice technical and software workflows.​

-Training and coaching other team members, doing technical training of new hires.​

-Research new features in tools and explore automation to improve current workflows.

The individual will collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, modelers and detailers to transform design concepts into detailed structural plans, specifications, and formal calculation packages. They will utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other industry-standard tools to develop accurate and efficient structural designs. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of structural engineering principles will be crucial in this role.  

The role will primarily focus on developing expertise in a variety of approaches and tasks involved in structural design through the completion of general and system-wide design tasks in close coordination with their Project Managers. The individual will expand on knowledge of a variety of material types, design approaches, project phases, and project scales, while actively participating in their project teams. 

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Assist in the production of drawings, specifications, and calculations during a project’s design phase life cycle from conceptual design to completion of construction documents under close supervision and coordination with the Project Manager or Senior Design Engineer. Responsibility will include tasks that are general and system-wide in nature. 
• Assist in the completion of various construction administration tasks, such as reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs, and making site visits, under close supervision and coordination with the Project Manager.  
• Assist in the development of structural designs and analytical models for various building types and materials.   
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from senior design engineers and project stakeholders.  
• Perform calculations and analyses to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes and regulations. Working knowledge of common codes.
