Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support large-scale construction projects through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, Paginated Reports, and Excel to support project decision-making.
2. Optimize performance of Power BI solutions through efficient DAX queries, data modeling, and report design.
3. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
4. Create scalable, flexible, and optimized data models that align with business goals.
5. Experience in modeling and handling access control users through RLS.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and analyze business needs.
7. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business strategies and project controls.
8. Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports and models.
9. Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
Skills:
Functional Skills:
• Candidates with background in Construction would be preferred.
• Understanding of Cost Management & Schedule Management for Large Scale construction projects.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Power BI, Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps), and Paginated Reports.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake preferred).
• Understanding data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience: 2-4 years in data analysis, preferably in Construction industry.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Client Experience: Preferred experience working with US or international clients.
Preferred Tools & Platforms:
• Databases: SQL, Snowflake
• BI Tools: Power BI
• Others: Advanced Excel, Paginated Reports, Power Platforms
