vConstruct a Pune based Construction Technology / Engineering company seeks an Electrical Modeler to develop and coordinate electrical models and drawings within Building Information Modeling (BIM) environments. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, project teams, and field personnel to ensure constructability, accuracy, and code compliance of electrical designs and support prefabrication and coordination efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate detailed electrical BIM models and drawings
- Ensure models and drawings meet constructability, accuracy, and quality standards
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, project managers, and field teams to support project delivery
- Prepare detailed, code-compliant electrical designs in accordance with applicable standards
- Perform coordination with other disciplines to resolve clashes and design conflicts
- Apply strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Support prefabrication planning, layout coordination, and construction sequencing
- Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and site feedback into models and drawings
- Maintain project documentation as per defined BIM standards and workflows
Skills
- 2+yrs of strong experience working in BIM environments for electrical modeling
- Proficiency in Revit MEP or similar BIM tools. Solidworks knowledge and experience is preferred
- Good understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and construction documentation
- Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of prefabrication and constructability principles is desirable
Education
Associate’s degree in Electrical Design, Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
