vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks a process-oriented Product Manager to lead our product team working on Enterprise Applications in the Construction Technology space. This role is expected to serve as the critical bridge between on-site business teams, UX, Solution Architects, Data Engineering, Tech leads, and Product Owners. Key focus will be Owning the goal of a product, ideating with business SMEs and bringing ideas to launch.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner with on-site Business Teams to understand specific needs and challenges in the construction workflow
· Develop comprehensive solutions by analyzing and validating high-level problem statements
· Conduct thorough user interviews to identify pain points and articulate value propositions
· Represent the product confidently in business meetings and client-facing presentations
· Create and update Product Vision to align with evolving needs
· Manage, own, and communicate Prioritization, Roadmap & Timelines to stakeholders
· Transform Business Requirements into detailed Functional Requirements through PRDs and low-fidelity mockups
· Perform Impact Analysis on existing functionality when implementing new features
· Serve as the primary liaison between UX, Product Owners, Solution Architects and Tech leads, clearly articulating user needs and product vision
· Communicate technical dependencies and development challenges in business-relevant terms
· Proactively monitor and resolve business-facing issues
· Monitor Product Analytics board, identify success metrics to drive product adoption
· Lead product feature pilots with early adopters, gather feedback, and strategize wider implementation
Requirements & Qualifications
· 7-10 years of experience in the Construction domain with comprehensive understanding of Construction Business Lifecycle, Value Chain, and relevant Tools & Processes
· Experience with data integration between construction software platforms (preconstruction to construction phases)
· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, construction Management, or related field
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate between technical and business contexts
· Proficiency in writing detailed business requirements and creating mockups to illustrate customer journeys and user interfaces
· Strong data analysis capabilities to inform feature development decisions
· Knowledge of Agile Development and Scrum methodologies
· Ability to quickly comprehend new requirements and assess their impact on existing solutions
· Understanding of construction technology landscape and common software applications used in the industry
· Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology is a plus
