Why this role exists
This role exists to bring predictability, efficiency, and clarity to site infrastructure projects. It strengthens coordination across civil, landscape, and related disciplines, ensuring that data, models, and planning insights translate into reliable outcomes on the ground. By bridging design intent with construction reality, this role helps teams make faster, more confident decisions, enabling projects to stay on track, mitigate risks early, and deliver high-quality results.
What will you own
Project Delivery & Model Authoring
- Develop high-precision 3D/4D/5D models for civil and landscape infrastructure projects, capable of supporting installation in the field.
- Interpret design drawings and US regional codes to create accurate and buildable models.
- Produce dimensioned layout drawings (plan and profile) from BIM models.
- Ensure models are aligned with other trades and maintain continuity and completeness.
Quality & Coordination
- Perform quality checks on models to validate completeness, accuracy, and adherence to design intent.
- Capture as-built information and compare it with BIM models to verify alignment and quality.
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate between building systems using tools like Navisworks.
- Suggest solutions to conflicts or design issues based on constructability insights.
Client & Team Interaction
- Collaborate with onsite project teams to communicate updates, progress, and challenges.
- Participate actively in coordination meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable environment within the team.
Process & Innovation
- Work within Autodesk Construction Cloud and leverage Revit parametric families effectively.
- Explore automation opportunities using Dynamo or other plugins to improve workflows.
- Document workflows, best practices, and lessons learned to contribute to organizational knowledge.
A day in this role
A typical day involves reviewing civil and landscape drawings, identifying discrepancies, and updating BIM models accordingly. You coordinate with other trades and project teams to resolve clashes and ensure alignment. You run quality checks, verify model completeness, and prepare layout drawings for field use. Time is spent troubleshooting model issues, integrating feedback from onsite teams, and exploring tools or automation opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency. Regular team meetings and client check-ins ensure alignment on project priorities and progress.
What you should bring

- Familiarity with regional US building codes, civil and architectural construction documents.
- Ability to perform clash detection, quality checks, and model coordination.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
What will make your application stand out
- Hands-on experience with civil and landscape BIM modeling at LOD 350+ for installation-level deliverables.
- Ability to integrate multiple trades into coordinated models and workflows.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud environment and parametric Revit families.
- Experience with automation using Dynamo or similar tools.
- Proven ability to translate complex design intent into practical, buildable models.
