vConstruct, a Pune based international engineering and construction services firm seeks a Senior Data Analyst for their Data Science and Analytics team which is a tight-knit group of analysts and engineers that support all data aspects of DPR business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. A

to organize and lead meetings with client and Operations team to define the problem
statement and create BRD/FRD
3. Ability
of leading planning framework, driving with organized and planned approach, making
reliable commitments while taking accountability/ ownership of the same.
4. Ability
of creating efficient project schedule and estimates
5. Ability
to effectively manage projects start to end and tracking project controls extensively
to drive success of the project
6. Perform
extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large datasets,
reports created. Able to do thorough Quality check of Data models and optimize
data models by collaborating with team members.
7. Strong
critical thinking and problem-solving ability to anticipate any potential
challenges and plan accordingly
8. Work
with a variety of data sources - extracting knowledge and generating actionable
information from large datasets.
9. Ability
to build tabular and/ or visualization report as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking
for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple
tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful
candidate will possess:
- 4-6 years in Data Analysis/Data Science or similar fields with proven business analysis experience.
- Preferred experience in the construction industry.
- Preferred experience working with US or overseas clients.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field. Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered.
- Excellent communication in English with proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders, communicate project/program status, and understand detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives.
- Ability to work well both independently and within a team in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exposure to predictive analytics and statistical techniques.
- End-to-end experience in designing and deploying reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools like Power BI, SSRS, Power BI Paginated Reports, etc.
- Experience with Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, PowerApps) in report development/deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as R/Python for exploratory and predictive data analytics.
- Proficiency in working with APIs for efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Optimization of Microsoft Power BI dashboards focusing on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
- Understanding of SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and views used during the ETL process.
- Proficient in building and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with transactional and data warehouse environments.

- Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- Snowflake Preferred
- Power BI & Power Platforms
- SSRS, Paginated Reports
- Advanced Excel
