vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks process-oriented individuals for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our products or services in Construction Technology space. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards. Primary expertise required in test automation tools like “Playwright” and frameworks to enable creation of efficient and effective automated test suites that accelerate the testing process and enhance overall product quality.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Validate the enterprise software application by executing the Test Scenarios.
· Analyzing the User Stories and writing the Test Plans and Test Cases.
· Discussion with Business Team for clarifications for the Scenarios.
· Define and establish automation strategies and processes.
· Ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of testing, along with creation, integration, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts.
· Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate all testing activities.
· Approve / Reject a Delivery of Development Feature Set or Release altogether.
· Work on multiple Applications at the same time.
· Can Assists in the processes to meet business needs.
· Clear documentation of bugs and provide concise manual/automation script to developers to reproduce the issue.
· Actively contribute towards generating and demonstrating ROI on automation suite.
· Contribute to new areas of POC on usage of automation tools
· Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Professional.
• Experience in testing web-based applications, especially Microsoft or Open-Source Stack.
• Experience with both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience in Writing Automation Test Case by using tools like Playwright/Cypress.
• Experience in developing and maintaining Page-Object based frameworks
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman / Swagger / REST Assured.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integrations for automation execution.
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript preferred.
• Database Testing is an added advantage. Basic knowledge in Microsoft SQL Development, SQL Server, SSRS for backend testing
• Good to have exposure/worked upon Performance & Load Testing either using JMeter or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of using VSCode and Extensions
• Basic understanding of Azure or any other cloud services.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development model.
• Good Understanding of least one source code repository preferably git
• Good understanding of using basic Bug Tracking / Project Management Tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Excellent knowledge of developer tools in Chrome or Microsoft Edge and should be able to help in troubleshooting issues
• Experience in business requirements analysis and mapping processes
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
• A drive to do what it takes to get the job done, including taking on different roles and responsibilities and adapting to changing environments
• Effective time management and organizational skills and a thorough approach to problem solving
Good to have:
· Experience in Python or Java
· GPT/Claude knowledge to optimize routine tasks.
· Basic knowledge of Linux/Bash/PowerShell
· Knowledge on Selenium
· Good understanding of Nodejs
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information technology or related field
• Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered
